Who We Are

Since 2012, Gregory Dental Group has provided state-of-the-art care to patients in Lebanon, TN, and throughout Wilson County. We purchased the building of Dr. Leslie Bergstrom’s former 25-year practice, and we continue to welcome new and long-term patients alike.

We exist to serve our patients by providing evidence-based dentistry with predictable outcomes. We offer an expansive list of general, cosmetic, and restorative dentistry services, including dental implants, Invisalign, and teeth whitening. We strive to educate our patients and help them make well-informed decisions about their oral health.

Dr. Gregory is a native of Westmoreland, TN. He was valedictorian at WHS in 2001. He attended Belmont University, studying biology and chemistry and graduating with honors in 2005. He spent one-year doing research at Vanderbilt then two years teaching science and coaching football at Beech High School in Hendersonville, TN.

He married his beautiful wife Coty in 2007. She is from Manchester, TN, where her family owns Patch Manor, a tea room and a catering service. Dr. Gregory received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Kentucky. He graduated with honors and received an award for excellence in restorative dentistry.

This past year, Dr. Gregory has had over 100 hours in Continuing Education. He is dedicated to his profession and to providing his patients with the best treatment.

He spends several evenings a year volunteering at the Interfaith Dental Clinic in Murfreesboro, TN. He and his wife are also active in serving the Lebanon community through their church.

Dr. Derrick Gregory

Dr. Katrina Hammons

Dr. Katrina Hammons was born and raised in East Tennessee where a desire to help others and work with her hands led to an early interest in dentistry. Despite this, she initially chose to follow in her father’s footsteps and completed her undergraduate education in Cookeville at Tennessee Technological University, graduating summa cum laude with a degree in Electrical Engineering. After much consideration, Dr. Hammons eventually came to the decision to switch paths and pursue her childhood dream of becoming a dentist.

Although her experience utilizing her engineering degree was limited, she is forever grateful for the time she spent at Tennessee Tech due to meeting her now-husband, Spencer, a Hendersonville native. Continuing her trek across Tennessee, Dr. Hammons attended dental school in Memphis. She graduated with honors from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, obtaining her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Prior to joining Gregory Dental Group, Dr. Hammons practiced in Clarksville, TN, until a desire to be closer to family brought her to Lebanon.

With a compassionate nature, Dr. Hammons values providing optimal care for her patients in a comforting environment. Katrina and Spencer (and their miniature schnauzer, Pipa) feel blessed and contented to be establishing roots among the Wilson and Sumner communities
